Should settings be allowed into their own package folders to allow more advanced set up, eg:

• copy/
• link/
• packages(?)/
  • PACKAGE/
  • copy/
  • link/
  • package_settings
  • linux_package_settings(?)

Separate logic needed for different levels of set up.

For example the set up step of running Ubuntu packages install. This may be wanted on a personal machine but otherwise it may be limited to purely command line settings.

Possible levels:

• OS set up
• Command line settings
• GUI program settings

Automate any environment logic needed for OS specific settings/file locations/keybindings.

Possibly search for any prefix files like "linux.configfile" and symlink to "configfile"

On first run, ask user to set an environment from listed options?
This allows to choose between profiles such as Linux desktop and Linux server

Use opster for command line arguments?

May want to use something such as PyInstaller to keep portable without dependencies.

Possible ideas:

• Simple add method 'dotfiles add .folder' that adds to repo and backsup
  • Option to add to existing package (-p / --package)
  • Confirmation screen, showing backup path and optionally add to or setting paths for other profiles.
  • Probably need --no-backup option
