Description

A simple webpage that allows a user to input a date and returns what day of the week it was.

Specifications

Specification Input Output
Program gathers user inputted date and converts it to a new date object Input = 4/03/1992 Output = new Date(1992-04-03
Program converts the number that javascript returns for the day of the week to a string input = 1992-04-03 (5) Output = 'Friday'

Setup/Installation Requirements

  • To view project code, clone repository from https://github.com/zangiboy/date_checker
  • To install the project on your own machine, clone the repository from command line $ git clone https://github.com/zangiboy/date_checker.
  • Navigate to the projects directory using CLI and install dependencies $ npm install.
  • Build the project using CLI $ npm run build
  • Open the index.html from the dist/ directory with the browser of your choice.
