Integrate some kind of commenting system about headlines

I have no idea actually. I think maybe some people might want to write entire stories, but definitely more will want to write funny comments. If I were you I'd just put DISQUS or something similar in there first and see what happens. If people begin to write full stories in the comments, then you could make that a feature. Maybe even format the stories like it is a real news article.

But comments are a really easy way to start.

While I probably wouldn't be willing to write stories, I'd definitely agree that having some sort of commenting system would be great for the website.
