Western Greece Developers Meetup

This repository is used to help us organize the events, collect ideas and discuss issues in a very familiar way.
We also use Slack for communication. Get your invitation from here.
You can also find us on Facebook via this page.

Presentations

Did you present during an event? If you want you can share your slides with the world. Please open a Pull Request which adds the presentation to the appropriate meetup directory under presentations.

E.g. presentations/meetup/001/material/my_presentation.pdf

If possible use the pdf format for consistency.

Presentation Proposals

Do you want to present something on the upcoming meetup? Please open a Pull Request which updates the proposals.md file or preferably open an issue.

This way people can comment, ask questions and upvote your presentation.

Project restructure proposal

I propose the following structure for the project.

meetups (folder)
README.MD (file)
PROPOSALS.MD (file)
HISTORY.MD (file)

meetups

This folder will contain sub-folders which will be named using 3 characters integer e.g. 001 (for better sorting). In each sub-folder there will be probably a folder named presentations and a README.md file related to the event.

General information

PROPOSALS.MD

Here we will have in one place the proposals for talks and/or workshops. So we will get rid of the files like this

HISTORY.MD

Here we will have a sort overview about what happened in past meetups. So, we could quick see the topics of the past meetups along with the presenters without going back and forth. This file could be unnecessary and merge the information at the bottom of PROPOSALS.MD like here
