This led me to start a two player game because I thought my options were "2 players" or "start game".

Possibly only if you're the first player joining the game? Unclear.

A sound or popup notification.

The colour of the name changing is too subtle. Consider adding popup or audio notification when away from window, more obvious visual notification when in the window.

Frequently when playing, we want to come back and discuss a specific hint someone gave, but can't do that until after the game is over. Sometimes we take screenshots, but not always.

Possible ideas:

• click on an entry in the log to bookmark
• allow adding a comment to remember what you wanted to ask about

Sometimes I'm brimming with anticipation and already select somebody I want to give a hint to in the dropdown. But if it's not my turn yet, the dropdown gets reset by the time the next turn comes around.

If both the white twos and both the green fours were discarded, the game should end when the red three and white two are down.

It's a little to easy to repeatedly hint someone their fives, for example.

A simple countdown to nudge people to play quickly would be nice for when you're trying to squeeze a second game in :-)

This is related to #2. The overarching goal: make it harder to accidentally hint the same information repeatedly.

Sequence of events:

1. player me-2 does something which makes me know I want to give player me+1 a hint
2. I pre-select player me+1 in drop-down
3. player me-1 plays

after (3) my preselected player is cleared. Ideally that wouldn't happen.
