Alfred Goodreads Workflow

Search Goodreads from the comfort of Alfred and get a quick status of the projects.

Install

$ npm install --global alfred-goodreads-workflow

Requires Node.js 14+ and the Alfred Powerpack.

Usage

In Alfred, type gr then your query to search for Goodreads books. Hit Enter to go to the book's Goodreads page.

Cannot install and use

Hello there maybe I'm dumb but I cannot install and use this package.

There is no alfredworkflow extension so I cannot import it to my Alfred.

I've also tried installing via terminal and failed: screenshot

Error: Alfred preferences not found at location

This error appears similar to this issue: sindresorhus/alfy#81

Alfred 4 with Powerpack installed.

I have not yet set up Dropbox sync of preferences, so the Preferences file should be at its default location.

Tried:
npm install --global alfred-goodreads-workflow

Got:

Action Required: Fix Renovate Configuration

There is an error with this repository's Renovate configuration that needs to be fixed. As a precaution, Renovate will stop PRs until it is resolved.

Error type: Cannot find preset's package (github>wesbaker/renovate-config)

Can't install the workflow. Problem with image not found.

Downloaded this version of the workflow wesbaker-alfred-goodreads-workflow-d22a90a on pacmax.org.

Cded to ~/Downloads/wesbaker-alfred-goodreads-workflow-d22a90a folder in iTerm.

Ran npm install --global alfred-goodreads-workflow

Got the following error:

npm install --global alfred-goodreads-workflow dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/opt/icu4c/lib/libicui18n.64.dylib

What have I done wrong?
