I know this is part of the voice generation issue, but somehow, when I press play, the audio doesn't play and when I press download, it downloads the file, but it doesn't come with the words you type in and has zero audio. Can you please fix it right away?

Oh, and by the way, I tested the mobile app version of Acapela, and it appears to work just fine, so there's no need to worry about the mobile app. It's just the computer version that is having issues.

I'm trying to add the following voices but I cannot get the IDs for them:

Do I need to do something or do I have to wait till the server works again?

Describe the bug
Once i try to download the zip file im being stopped by my anti-virus. Even if i turn it off, google blocks the download.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'releases'
2. Click on 'Release.zip'
3. See error

Expected behavior
Safe download

After testing this software for a few days, when I tried to use it once again I was given an error when trying to play and/or download any clips. Looks almost like their server is blocking any further use.

Processing speed is a bit slow. Can in the future the downloader play the message in real time(>200 ms)?

Hello - this is a great piece of software which worked very well for me up until recently. I am unable to play or download as an error message comes up as follows:

_"Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If your click Quit, the application will close immediately.

The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error."_

Does this mean that the site has blocked the rip or changed the webpage on which the application relied? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may have already fixed this issue but in the earliest version. I noticed that you can only type about 300 characters without having to delete some text. Is this still an issue or was it fixed in later versions?

When pressing the Download/Play button, the application does not give any indication that it's doing something, thus. If it's taking a bit longer than usual, it gives the illusion that it froze/crashed (Sony Vegas moment)

(When DWN is disabled and you move a window, this happens, which shows that the form is not rendering when it's busy with Acapella)

Describe the solution you'd like
The cursor should be changed into the "Working in Background" cursor. It should not be the "Busy" cursor since that will give the illusion that the application is not responding. There should also be a status bar to indicate progress.

When the user clicks on Play or Download, then the status bar should be changed to "Loading" (as seen in the mockup) or something else. When it finishes getting the voice clip from the Acapella servers, the status bar should be changed to "Ready". If the user decides to download instead, the status bar should be changed into something along the lines of "Please specify the location you would like to save your audio file.".

This looks a bit unprofessional, so after the user saves their audio clip, instead of opening a Message box form that says "Done!". The status bar should say "Done!" for 3 seconds and then go back into saying "Ready".

Currently, when downloading a voice clip as MP3 on newer Windows versions the program reencodes the downloaded MP3 even if the pitch is set to 1, resulting in quality degradation/generation loss.

Describe the solution you'd like
The program should just save the MP3 as-is if the pitch is not being changed.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Running the program in compatibility mode for Windows 7 to revert to legacy behavior doesn't work, as it doesn't change the reported Windows version (the way it's being checked here).

it seems that the acapella tts were broken and cannot generate but exporting it makes it blank
so i have to wait? or is there alternative?

2. Double Click on 'Release'
3. find 'AcapellaDownloader' when extracted
4. if so, your virus could detect the downloader as a trojan, and i cant fix it

I have no programming knowledge but I use this program for meme-ing in games with friends but no matter how I set my options, my voice sounds normal while any TTS voice I use is ear shatteringly loud to my friends. Is there a way to change the volume output without changing my global volume settings? Otherwise I need to change my volume to make me sound super quiet every time I use TTS.

I think I would personally use this wayy more if there was a command line version of it.

Congrats to you on creating this fine application! I wasn't sure where to put my thanks, thus I place it here.

Secondly on to the issue:

Vocal Sound Smileys, such as #AARGH01#, #FIRE SIREN#, and #SLEEP01#, only work while logged into the site directly.
Words on the other hand, working as expected,perfectly!

i open it, put the text, select the voice and click play, then it crashes. what do i do?

In WillFromAfarDownloader (v2.2.2), I typed some words, I clicked the Download button, and it did not work. I clicked the Play button, and it did not work.

I use Windows (64-bit) (v10.0.19043.1237).

If you try to send more than 300 characters, you get back "you are not allowed to process text more than 300 characters"

It would be nice to have a character counter for textBox1 so you can see if your message is too long before you hit play

Or, maybe it's possible to split a message that's longer than 300 characters into two+, then play them back to back

I'm using the most recent version and all of the voices do not generate the text I wanted, but instead just generates a blank audio file, Is it just me or is anyone else having the same problem?
