webos-goodies's Issues

All records are added with ".domain.com" as suffix

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a zone
2. Add a CNAME with any canonical name
3. Push changes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is:
Non-authoritative answer:
xyz.domain.com canonical name = somesite/somepage/.

What I see:
Non-authoritative answer:
xyz.domain.com canonical name = somesite/somepage/.domain.com.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Got it 2 days ago. Using at Google Apps Business.

Please provide any additional information below.
It's adding the domain as suffix of all of entries' values. I've described a
nslookup command.
I'm trying to read the code, but it's very hard to debug. If I see the bug I'll
try to post it here.

Zone Apex: not supported

Do you plan to add columns for other attributes or handle special cases? In
particular, I'd be curious if you can add zone apex.

Thank you so much, I also love it.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the Amazon command line tools to set zone apex for a zone.
2. Zone can no longer be sync'd by the spreadsheet macro.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

zone:example.com....
TypeError: Cannot read property "0" from undefined.

PTR records don't work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a PTR record in Google Docs
2. Upload the changes to AWS
3. Go into AWS and see that the VALUE field is different to what you have
entered in Google Docs.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In Google Docs in the value column I enter "domain.com".
I then upload the changes to AWS.
In the Route 53 part to AWS Console I see "domain.com.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa"
in the value field instead of "domain.com".

Route53Menu doesn't work at all !

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the empty spreadsheet where I installed Route53 scripts but Route53
menu is no more there !
2. First time when I installed the script in my spreadsheet I was not able to
access any choice of Route53 menu. It tells all time that menu could not be
found !

I'm testing it in Chrome with Google Docs on Google Apps !

Thanks,

Vincèn

Wildcard CNAME record

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Adding a wildcard cname record
2. trying to submit

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

We receive in output:
zone:ourdomain.com....
Error: RRSet of type CNAME with DNS name \052.ourdomain.com. is not permitted
as it creates a CNAME loop in the zone.

BTW, your script is VERY useful ( just this lack :P )
