There are many cases that I want to browse a specific class file and I know the file name.

Sorry not sure where to give props on github, but this project seriously rocks. OpenGrok is such a PITA to setup for a quick job but this is excellent. 2 commands and you are good to search!

Drop whole OpenGrok based codes.

Since OpenGrok based code is not designed for easy to add new feature. Drop OpenGrok based codes. And replace whole things by using modern libraries.

Use modern/reliable libraries.

• Play 2 with Scala.
• google code prettify for both analyze and render code.
• Apache Tika to detect content type.
• ElasticSearch for core search engine.
• Twitter Bootstrap for UI framework.

Support pluggable architecture for analyzer, xref, and tokenizer.

• Remove complexity during refactoring
• Most users already have solutions for browsing source history like github

• Run/schedule indexer
• Add/remove source tree
  Etc

Too complex to enhance. Rewrite might easier than refactor.

• Create data/configuration on $HOME/.sourcecolon by default
• Accept explicit configuration

• Remove dependencies for ctags
• Embedded web server like Jenkins

Since JFlex output is little bit confusing & difficult to debug.
