processtap's Issues

/usr/bin/env: processtap: No such file or directory

Hi,

I am trying to use processtap.
PC OS details: Ubuntu 10.04.1
Pintool:pin-2.8-37300-gcc.3.4.6-ia32_intel64-linux

I was able to compile processtap.

Then tried the example malloctrace.ptap provided on first page.

I get the following result: error

a9911584@a9911584-desktop:~/Chromium/processtap-read-only$ ./malloctrace.ptap
-- /bin/ls
/usr/bin/env: processtap: No such file or directory

Can you please guide, I think it may just be ..issue of putting files in the
right directory..perhaps.

Thanks,
Anjan

Windows version of Processtap

Hi,
This is not an issue as such. I am curious to know if there is a plan to
release a windows version of Processtap. At it is based on PinTools, which runs
on Windows also, is there any other limitation that prevents it from running on
windows?
regards
-Sanjay
