exwm-firefox-core's Issues

Return to normal mode after following a link

Thanks for this package, it's awesome! I have just a minor inconvenience: the current definition of exwm-firefox-core-hint-links is:

(defun exwm-firefox-core-hint-links ()
"Select and open a link with your keyboard."
  (interactive)
  (exwm-input--fake-key ?\M-j)
  (exwm-firefox-evil-insert))

this means that when the user follows a link, the new page will be visualized in insert-mode and so navigation, which is the most common type of action in a new page, will be disabled until the user returns to normal state.

Would it be possible to turn back to normal state as soon as the hint has been selected?
What would be a good mechanism to do this?

Wrong key for *-focus-search-bar

I had just problems using that function:

exwm-firefox-core-focus-search-bar

It was because of my language, because while M-d seems to work with the English browser, with German and likely many other languages it does not work it instead focus the File Pulldown menu because in German it's called "Datei" with the d so M-d triggers that.

The correct shortcut as far as I know and works at least is C-l that works

Well both seem to be theoretically ok, but I think C-l (L) will not conflict with such a basic difference than having a different language version of the browser.
