Installation

1. Inside Komodo, navigate to Tools → Add-ons.
2. Press the left arrow key to go up one level.
3. Search for WakaTime and press Enter to install.
4. When prompted, click Restart Now.
5. Enter your api key.
6. Use Komodo and your time will be tracked for you automatically.
7. Visit https://wakatime.com to see your logged time.

Troubleshooting

Open your log file Help → Troubleshooting → View Log File and look for WakaTime related error messages.

Also, turn on debug mode then tail your $HOME/.wakatime.log file to debug wakatime cli problems.

Support for Komodo/Edit 9

Komodo and Komodo Edit 9 have been released, it would be awesome if wakatime would support it.

proxy password error

I am encounter the similar issue as before in Proxy error with VS code. I install wakatime and input my proxy configuration, but it reminds me the error of configparser.InterpolationSyntaxError: '%' must be followed by '%' or '(', found: '%[email protected]:8080'.

I think it is because that there is a special character in my pass word, the native pass word is 1234@feng, and I translate it into url format with 1234%40feng, so how to handle the password in wakatime proxy? such as native https://jason:1234@feng:proxyus.feng.com:8080?

Support for Komodo 9

Support for the release of Komodo 9 would be awesome as the beta is now available.

Proxy error

Hello,

komodo plugin can't connect to server with my company proxy.
I am getting this error :
