so first, make a stage simply has a list of destinations. clicking an item opens the attached stage.

obviously we only got one stage at this point. maybe ill make a second to test.

get a 'global' object that holds all the players stats and shit. this will eventually expand to become fucking massive.

Objective:

• Have a screen where player selects "destination"
  • Clicking things on that screen starts the corresponding stage
• have framework in place to preserve attributes of the player
• leave room for future tickets that preserve state of other stages..

Global objects exist and work as expected.
I still need to look at save/pause options for stages, and also get the "map" gui on the screen and working - basically clicking a button/icon will loadlevel();

Pressing 'm' now bring up a menu that can be used to change the current stage.

I may close this issues and open a couple more targetted issues relating to this feature later, since we need to focus on the Combat milestone for the first released build
