📢 VS Code Extension - Ultimate OpenAI API

This is a VS Code extension for generating text using OpenAI's ChatGPT / GPT-3.5 / GPT-4 API. It provides a user interface for inputting messages and receiving responses from the API.

🛠 Installation

To install the extension, follow these steps:

1. Open VS Code
2. Go to the Extensions tab on the left sidebar
3. Search for "Ultimate ChatGPT"
4. Click Install
5. Once installed, reload VS Code

🚀 Usage

To use the extension, follow these steps:

1. Click the Ultimate ChatGPT icon in the extensions sidebar
2. Enter your OpenAI API Key and select the GPT model you want to use
3. Type a message in the input box and press "Add Message"
4. Once you have added all your messages, press "Submit" to generate a response from the API
5. The response will appear after it's fully generated in the conversation history, GPT-4 takes more time to generate

You can edit or delete messages by clicking the corresponding buttons next to each message. You can also clear the conversation history by clicking the "Clear Conversation" button.

❗ Troubleshooting

If you encounter any errors while using the extension, they will be displayed in the "Error" textarea at the bottom of the UI. To report an issue or provide feedback, please open an issue on the GitHub repository

📈 Future Plans

My ultimate goal is to completely reinvent AI interfacing in code editors. I aim to significantly boost productivity. I will continuously refine and expand this extension based on your feedback.
