Currently, UTF-8 support is broken when compiling with xelatex (but without Meta font).

Introduce class option to select own faculty. Primary faculty color should then be used for main elements.

The uni has a new logo, so we should update it.

Task:

1. Change new logo to pgf
2. Replace pgf code in class

A unified class – in the best case with auto-detection of pdflatex/xelatex environemnt – and configurable styles (faculty color themes, default/alternate layout,additional logos…) would be useful for further usage.

Add an option to set and show a license note on a slide deck, maybe even predefine popular licenses like CC-*

and set a title image, this results in the following error:

Latex Error: ./slides.tex:35 Package tikz Error: Extra options not allowed for clipping path command..

Should check whether \titlegraphic is set and, if not, display some default (tikz-generated?) default. Now, compilation just fails.

The two different style classes (default and alternate) currently use different names for colors. Names should be harmonized in order to provide seamless switiching of style classes.

The color specified for the medicine faculty is not correct and seems to equal one of the normal university colors instead of the blue shade defined in the cd.

The ifxetex is supported more broadly, compared to iftex (i.e. latest Ubuntu distributions). As we don't need advanced sniffing, ifxetex should be okay for our purposes.

Insert an option to specify credits (name, license etc.) for a title image, if required (e.g. cc-by).

LaTeX beamer supports different output ratios such as 1610, 149, 54, 43 and 32 as class loading option.

A modern look using 16:10 or 16:9 would require modifications of the first slide and maybe other parts of the presentation.
