It's been a while since I ran this code, but if I remember correctly, I ran it in a machine with 2xIntel® Xeon® 5-2650 v3 (20 cores) and 256 GB of RAM. What I do not have is information about the time it took to run, sorry about that. I just remember it was a lot :)

I don't think so. What the code is doing with the
forEach
package is to process multiple tasks (the ones comprising the grid search) at once, and GPUs are meant to process one single task in parallel, such as matrix operations. I'm not aware ifmarch
provides GPU support, but at a first glance it does not seem to.
