Twitter now shows the contents of a tweet if that tweet's link is placed in a tweet. They also added a "Retweet with comment" feature which automatically does this, and people are using it. This causes the tweets with link to another tweet to appear, and the user has to click the link to gain the context of that tweet, which is inconvenient. Hotot should show the contents of the linked tweet as well.

Sometimes, loading more past tweets at the bottom of the timeline will cause the scroll to jump upwards, and for the past tweets to be added to the top of the timeline instead of the bottom. Reasons unknown.

pic.twitter.com added a feature to support adding multiple images to a tweet. Hotot currently will only display the first image.

Uploading pictures to Twitter's official picture service doesn't seem to work.

pic.twitter.com added the ability for animated GIFs to be uploaded. Hotot does not display images like these.

Add a feature for a "public reply" where a period "." is added to the front of the tweet during a reply so that all your followers will see the reply.

Links are detected incorrectly when the link is surrounded with punctuation such as parenthesis or quotation marks.

The remaining character count displayed when composing a tweet is incorrect when a link has been added to the tweet. It might show a tweet to fit the character limit, but the tweet will fail when tweeted with "Update failed! Saved as draft." Shortening a tweet so the character count says something around 137 allows the tweet to be made.

The code that generates HTML links for URLs and Twitter username mentions glitches out when there is a Twitter username with an '@' in the beginning within the URL. An example would be for some medium.com URLs, like http://example.com/@jsmith/
