App freezes the entire OS after random intervals of time

version: 1.0.0 from Play Store
OS version: Android 10
Phone: Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

The most relevant bits i could find from adb logcat before the phone dies.

It has been 5008.1ms since event, 5007.0ms since wait started.  Reason: Waiting to send non-key event because the touched window has not finished processing certain input events that were delivered to it over 500.0ms ago.  Wait queue length: 9.  Wait queue head age: 7234.3ms.

Issue seems similar to flutter/flutter#27190.
