Not quite a catapult but rather a slingshot to fling stones. A mini catapult? Like the balista, it would use primitive wood, string, and stone materials. It would be the low-end version of the MG much like the ballista is the low-end version of the cannon. Could do less damage than the ballista because it's easier to craft?

Ammunition (like the ammo for Cannon, MG and Ballista) gets consumed, and needs to be refilled, but can be restocked manually, or with item pipes from other mods.
Implement a defensive block which electrocutes any entities that comes in contact with the said block. The block acts similar to a fence in terms of being placed and can be turned on or off by letting Redstone power flow through the fence.
A great example of an electric fence design would be the base fence with wire as its connector thus, thinning the horizontal wooden connector and changing it to a copper colored one would suffice. This would also allow copper to have another purpose instead of sitting in your chests or barrels to oxidize by themselves.
Implement Flak Turret Anti-Air Turret which prioritizes flying enemies. Bullets will create a small explosion after a fixed amount of time similar to the MK 15 Phalanx CIWS but due to how this one is a land based variant, it is appropriate to call it Counter rocket, artillery, and mortar or C-RAM for short.
These rounds will explode on impact with the target, or on tracer burnout, thereby greatly reducing the risk of collateral damage from rounds that fail to hit their target. This projectile is derived from the actual rounds used by the MK 15 Phalanx CIWS and Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (C-RAM)
The round includes a red tracer to aid in targeting therefore, the implementation of this projectile will include a tracer particle that will allow players to easily spot the rounds.
