Travel Advisories Data Visualization

US State Department Travel Advisory website is an important source for uptodate international travel advisories and alerts. US State Department assigns Travel Advisory Levels (1 - 4) to a country depending upon current conditions in that country. Various factors that affect the advisory level may include Crime, Terrorism, Civil Unrest, Health, Kidnapping/Hostage Taking among other factors. The Objective of this project is to visualize the current conditions quickly for a country on a map.

Getting Started

To start clone the repository or download the zip file locally on your machine.

Prerequisites

To run this notebook you need to have Python and Jupyter Notebook installed on your computer.

Installation

1. Install python from https://python.org
2. Install jupyter notebook

   pip install notebook

3. Install Beautifulsoup and folium

   pip install beautifulsoup4
   pip install folium

4. To run the notebook

   jupyter notebook
