Vertex Components

About

Vertex Components is a library of React components that are used in Vertex projects.

This subproject is a part of the Vertex project.

The goal is to anticipate the creation of the Vertex website, allowing components to be reused between Vertex and its website. Another objective is also to recode components with more tests and documentation. Future 3rd party apps will be able to use these components.

Disclaimer: We do not advise you to use these components in your projects. They will likely change a lot in the near future. We will make a stable release when we will be satisfied with the components.

Create a divider component

Currently, <hr> divider is hard-coded in @vertex-center/components (Documentation.tsx).

It should be a dedicated component.

Migrate Vertex components to this library

The goal is to progressively migrate components from Vertex to this library.

These components are missing:

• Button
• Card
• Checkbox
• Code
• Header
• Input (text, select, etc.)
• List
• Material Icon
• Popup
• Progress
• Sidebar
• ToggleButton
• Toolbar
• URL

Deploy storybook

This should be done from GitHub workflows

Add support for Material Icon size

Enable Accessibility tests

This can be done with storybook: https://storybook.js.org/docs/react/writing-tests/accessibility-testing

Accessibility tests should also be running in the terminal.

Implement Jest unit tests

Add support for Icons in Buttons

This should not only be compatible with MaterialIcons but also other icons components.
