LeaveFusion

A module which is going to be incorporated in larger Software Product.
This mainly deals with the leave applications and the relavant processes mainly focused on Academic Institutions.
Requires python3.5+ and django==1.11.4+

Using it

Install virtualenv pip install virtualenv
Clone the repository git clone https://github.com/3Peers/LeaveFusion.git
Change directory and move to LeaveFusion ==> cd LeaveFusion
Create a virtualenv virtualenv env
Activate the virtualenv source ./env/bin/activate
Install dependencies pip install -r requirements.txt
Run the django server python manage.py runserver

Contributing

Create a new branch with a related name of the motive i.e. bug/refactor/feature
Create an issue before actually starting to code
Send a pull request anytime :)

UI change

Merge the required UI with the existing backend.

Optimize db queries

Look at the number of db calls in django-debug-toolbar. It doesn't look good.
There are a lot of duplicate queries. Optimize them.

Add checking the validity of a leave request

An example when it fails ==>

Suppose a user has applied for two leaves from 1 to 4 and from 8 to 15 back-to-back, as casual leaves.
There are 8 total casual leaves. So if one leave request gets accepted, there are only 4 casual leaves remaining and then the next request gets accepted, means add validations for:

For checking number of remaining leaves on acceptance of the leave request. If not enough remain then automatically reject the application.
