Prometheus doesn't resolve proper ips about prometheus

@Lugoues what OS are you trying this on?

also make sure docker ps shows the cadvisor and node-exporter containers running and with ports 9100/tcp and 8080/tcp

Cadvisor has 8080/tcp mapped
nodeexporter has 9100/tcp mapped

Hi @Lugoues If you exec into the prometheus container can you try to ping the hostnames/IP of cAdvisor & node exporter?

Do you have any firewalls running that would block these ports?

@Lugoues Indeed, might want to check that both prometheus and cadvisor are running on the same docker network. Doing an exec in will point that out pretty quickly.
