anka-docs's Issues

Creating your first VM

We have to add some scripts to bootstrap VM and point to Packer integration available in this section.

Template vs VM

Hi

I'm confused about the difference between a template and a VM.

In this part of the documentation, template is used all over the place e.g.

You can create Templates using anka create

But in the commands documentation VM is used

Creates a VM

I think you could be a lot clearer on the difference (if any?) between template and VM.

Best regards
Jens

Discrepency in Licensing docs

Hi,

While your documentation and official website state multiple times that Anka Develop is only licensed freely on MacBooks, some parts of the documentation don't reflect this. For example, this product matrix highlights Develop as also being licensed for iMacs, which anecdotal evidence suggests isn't the case. Can you please clear up this language to make it more obvious where Anka Develop is and isn't permitted to be used?

Thank you in advance!

Creating a VM

In this section, we need to put information on enabling Nested feature to run docker etc, so that it's prominent and users looking for it can easily navigate to it.

Note In order to create VMs with nested feature enabled, select nested virtualization checkbox in Customizations while installing Anka through the GUI method.
If using command line, use the following command sudo installer -applyChoiceChangesXML nanka.xml -pkg Ankaxx.pkg -target /.

How are these docs built?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I really like how these docs look and I was curious what SSG and theme you were using. I'm guessing the repo here is just the "content" directory of a Hugo site but I'm not totally sure, and I'd love to know what theme you're all using if it's one that's public/open source.

Just a curiosity, thanks in advance!

Anka Commands

"Manage VM Templates in Registry " hyperlink is not working.
