Mongoose and Sequelize are both popular Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) libraries used in Node.js to interact with databases. However, they are used for different types of databases - Mongoose is mainly used for MongoDB, while Sequelize is used for SQL-based databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
