Defpool is a resource pooling library. The implementation is heavily inspired by the way connection pooling is implemented in CLSQL. Note: Due to differences in the implementation of the LOOP macro, the code is currently tested to work only with SBCL. Notably, this does not compile (yet) with CCL.
To use the built in CL-REDIS and USOCKET pooling support, see the WITH-REDIS-POOL and WITH-SOCKET-POOL macros. Defpool is designed to be extensible - to add support for another resource you will need to extend the system by implementing methods for the VALID-RESOURCE, FORCE-TERMINATE and CLEANUP-RESOURCE generic functions.
