randomly-adding-anything's Issues

Uncraftable Shears

There is no crafting recipe for any shears other than the vanilla one.. I'm using the latest 1.15.1 build of the mod.

[1.15.1] Crashing immediately upon launch

To preface, I see that there have been some similar closed issues, but the information hasn't helped me. I apologize if it has been answered already.

I'm running the vanilla launcher of the 1.15.1 version with 1.15.1 fabric loader and api, but it just immediately crashes when I attempt to launch the game. It doesn't show any crash report.

Ore textures are invisible while running raa with optifabric

I'm running fabric loader 0.7.8 build.187-1.15.2 with these mods:

optifabric 1.0.0-beta4
Optifine 1.15.2 HD U G1 pre9
raa 2.1.1 build.489
And I ran into this problem:
2020-03-18_14 33 16
It only happens with optifine/optifabric installed
I tried changing most settings and this bug won't stop
Other textures render just fine, only ores are glitched.

Stone is too bouncy

I tested 9 different stone varieties, and all but two had extremely high jump heights off of them. This didn't happen with any of the other blocks in those dimensions, so could the chance of bounciness be way smaller?

World Generation/Rendering gone array

I submitted an issue already about a crash when placing blocks, and this started happening right after creating a new world after that incident. The previous crash report mentioned a problem with rendering and in general I think it's just doing some really weird stuff. I came across a couple random blocks generated in the world that belong to this mod. Then the trees started doing this... As I flew around it just kept happening more and more.

Project ReadMe

Right now the README.md is empty, and I feel kind of lost when looking at the project (Specially because I haven't programmed in java -- I can understand some of it).

I believe it'd be good to have current mod features and information on the readme, and perhaps a roadmap regarding planned features and whatnot. Perhaps also how to help.
I'll try and help this project whenever I feel inspired~

Helmet crafting recipe

When using a crafting table, after putting anything in and then taking it back out, i am able to craft a helmet from nothing.
huh

Fabric Error

When I load the fabric launche it gives an error and crashes

Runs fine without Mod installed

Dimensional Ores Not Dropping

When I find ore in custom dimension stone, even when mining it with a diamond pickaxe, it doesn't drop anything. This isn't just one ore, either, it's all of them. My sister also experienced this, on a completely different world and computer.

Hey this isnt an issue but more of an idea if you guys were ever gonna implement random mobs as i couldn't find or do any requests

here's my Idea for a random mob spawn (Aggresive Mobs)

You could make it so that that mobs that already have a model ingame sometimes get re colored and have diffrent abilitaes or mixtures of abilites some mobs already have

An exemple of this could be a creeper who is purple and teleports to closetst player when in the sutible area for being seen and explodes.

but you could also make a whole new random mob model generator thta sticks to the fundimentals of minecraft (blocky) and creates a whole new mob with abilitys never seen before

an exemple of this could be a octipus when the ability to explode its tenictals on impact and generate new ones if not attacked

I could also see there being a threat level that the higher the threat the better the loot, and the larger in size, the more health the mob has and the more attack damage the higher threat its seen as

heres and example of normal mobs and their threat level

S = Size, H = health A = Attack damage Sp = speed

Level 1, Silver fish, small and low health and low attack damage but medium sp

level 2, Shulker got small/medium S, low Sp, Medium attack and low H

level 3 Zombies, creepers and skeletons. Zombies medium on S, M , A and SP, Creepers medium on S, Sp and H but got higher A, Skeletons Has medium on S, M, SP and A but got range.

level 4 Ravager got big S, High A, High H and high SP Elder Guardian got Medium/large S, High A, and High H and medium SP

level 5 will always have a boss bar. Ender dragon got Very large S, Very large SP, Very large H and very large A, Wither got large S, very large A, High SP and very large H.

and ofcourse is there those 1,5 and 2,5 but fuck those right now lol

you get the point right?

But how do the computer decide if its a Level 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 threat

you take your A, SP, S and H and let the computer decide what value A, SP, S and H got

very Small and very low = 1 Point

small and low = 2

medium = 3

Large and high = 4

Very large and very high = 5

then you add every value on to each other with the help of addition and if the value is

1-5 points it is a threat level 1

5-10 points it is a threat level 2

10-15 points it is a threat level 3

15-18 points it is a threat level 4

18-20 points it is a threat level 5

Level 1 it gives trash loot,

Level 2 it gives kinda trash loot,

level 3 it gives kinda good loot

level 4 it gives good loot

level 5 it gives very good loot

Level 1 is not really common

level 2 is kinda commom

level 3 is common

Level 4 is rare

level 5 is very rare

Over building limit?

I had found natural spawned portal, and I used one of them.
I spawned so high, soo I wanted to go back and get blocks or water, but I cant ues a portal, because the portal was on the building limit: 256th block, and I cant use it.

One more thing, most dimension what have trees, most of them are just dropping things and make a big lagg, so it would se soo good if you make your trees or the leaf dacey more smart.

Thanks!

Unable to mine any pick ores

I can get all the ores in the 'soft' materials just fine (sand, dirt, gravel, etc) even though OneProbe says they need an axe to harvest instead of a shovel.

However any ore in a stone-type material (stone, granite, netherrack, etc) is unable to be mined with any tool. OneProbe comes up correctly as needing a pickaxe, and of the correct hardness value (stone, iron, obsidian), but no quality of any tool from wood to diamond will mine it.

I even have a Computercraft:Tweaked turtle mining ores and it hasn't come back with any, so I assume it is just destroying any it finds as well.

Edit: I did manage to get a few by slamming a Ghast fireball into them, so the drops are working, just being able to mine them normally with a pick is not.

Edit2: Works fine by itself, mod compatibility issue, trying to figure out which one now.

bug

While ur in the water the sky looks really weird and glitchy

Crash on entering certain dimensions

Running a multiplayer server, most dimensions work but certain ones crash the server within a second of entering.

The discovered dimensions in this configuration which crash the server are:

  • Conula
  • Circumutan

Working:

  • Reden
  • Sodouo
  • Intran
  • Suprami
  • Interula
  • Transumi

Ores set to generate in wood planks.

I found that an ore can generate in wooden planks, and the way to mine it isn't by using an axe, but a shovel instead.

I believe this should be removed, but only partially.

Stone is stone and the ores are valuable, right?
How about wood is wood, and special wood is valuable? I'm talking about randomized special hardwood that also requires axe progression.

This would be a nice way to implement new trees into the mix. These trees's sapling yield and tool durability should tend to be low (so they depend on farming), however their speed, power and damage could be as randomized as other randomly generated stuffs.
For balancing, some trees could yield only 3 planks per log, and others 5. Yielding more or less planks could counter-balance tool efficiency.

If the player doesn't want to use that wood for tools because it looks beautiful, it should also have it's full furniture set.
I already have some of the sprites grayscaled and masked (two colors in the same picture) if needed.

Ores no longer spawn

Hello, i started playing this mod this morning, and i only saw ores in sand and grass and i waited to go a bit further to find a good area to begin my journey. once i did, i went into some caves and got the basic minecraft materials, and i explored for an hour or so and never found any of the new ores or anything, it was quite disappointing, and don't know what happened, i even strip mined and didn't find anything. please help, thanks.

Overpowered Axes

I downloaded the mod and mid way through my play through I noticed that the swords are overwhelmingly weak. The axes however are reaching MUCH higher Attack Damage's (in the 10+ range) while the none of the swords have a damage that exceeds a diamond sword (7).

I think someone has also mentioned this but the ores that generate "end game" (in the end) are much weaker then the ones that I get just from digging the top grass layer

Exploding ores crashes the game.

The crash message is:

The game crashed whilst ticking entity
Error: net.minecraft.class_151: Non [a-z0-9/._-] character in path of location: raa:sodow retroice_crystal

(Sodow retroice crystal is the drop from the exploded ore.)

All ores despawn after Minecraft reeboot .

I am absolutely in love with this project. I hope you keep up the good work with this amazing gift.
There is a slight problem in this mod that makes it unplayable in a long term survival. After rebooting Minecraft ( Regen off ), and coming back to my world, all the ores in the world disappear, including the ones in my inventory. I am currently playing with version 1.15.2 fabric, and raa-2.1.1+build.504. My OS is WIndows 10. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong, and if not, please consider fixing it, that would make my quarantine much better! If you need any additional information, please don't hesitate asking. Thank you in advance!

Some tools fail to require their respective materials

For instance, there's one type of sword I can craft using only a stick, and one piece of armor that I can craft using literally nothing at all.

Minecraft version 1.15.1, with only Fabric API, REI and Mod Menu with the mod.

Ores

I've been searching for ores with spectator for 1 hour and i can't find any. Is there any way that I can the spawn rate of them?

Not working

I am new to fabric and mods in general but when ever I try to play I get the message saying it can not be loaded and that the Fabric mod can not be loaded, I have Fabric API downloaded and I am trying to do this on minecraft 1.14.4, I do not have any other mods downloaded just this one, what is wrong?
Capture

Mod commands do not run

Attempting to use the locateRAA command with no argument gives an "Unknown command" error message. Adding the structure name after it (e.g. PortalHub), gives "An unexpected error occurred trying to execute that command."

Missing Textures for some Ores

Some Ores have missing textures. I have left an example below.

image

This ore in general makes a grass sound when you break it, yet there are still grass ores with textures in the menu.

Also for some reason, no ores are generating??? Might just be a one-off chance though.

only pops up when I install RAA, no other mods, just Fabric

the game will not generate any random ores or dimensions (Into world generation.)

And its not like the game doesn't have the ores present in the game, it just won't incorporate them in to world generation.
I've seen other people bring this up before, But they closed the issue without giving an answer that was useful.

I've heard something about setting a "regen" value to "true" (sorry if I'm using the incorrect language) in a .json folder, but no one has ever specified which one.

Crashing

With the Fabric loader, the game immediately crashes if I try to launch it. I have no idea what the problem could be; I'm using the latest build of Fabric at version 1.14.4, which the mod works with.

Crash on Launch

When I tried to launch Minecraft it crashed and I have no idea why.
I'm using Fabric API 0.4.2 build 246 for 1.14.4
I'm using Fabric Loader 0.7.2 build 175 for 1.14.4
I'm using RAA 1.3.0 build 340 for 1.14.4
I'm not using any other mods.
I originally posted this to FabricMC but I was told "This is likely the fault of RandomlyAddingAnything, which seems to be trying to access the ColorProviderRegistryImpl class directly. Fabric API is almost definitely not responsible."
Thanks for the help.
