tg admin

Util to control configuration settings via a telegram bot.

Installation

Ensure Rust is installed, then cargo-install the binary:

cargo install --path . --root /usr/bin/

Usage

All commands are accessible via a -h help message request. Main use-case is managing a config file that is in use by the target application. Generalises to all popular config formats.

Example

tg_admin watch -t "${THE_BOT_TOKEN}" ./config/config.json

// in paths ~ for home directory is supported, but only for linux.

tg_admin's Issues

fix markdown rendering in buttons

May be due to conflict of built-in Markup for buttons and markdown itself. Maybe can be solved with switching to html and making my own elements

rewrite lazy unwraps

mixtral-8b (probably) to determine if a new input to is about-right, even after we checked that it is of the correct json-type

update-value functionality

autu-setup the menu

since we're using the /admin command, would be nice to auto-setup the bot to set a menu for it, as /setcommands in @BotFather allows to do (pretty sure it's very straightforward)
