Abrowser for Android

Android version of Abrowser - GNU Trisquel's version of Firefox https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/abrowser-help. Abrowser, other that saner default settings to improve privacy, is pretty much Firefox and should provide a quite "neutral" browsing experience.

You can download prebuilt APK's from Release section or from mirror.

Building

At the moment build script only works on Linux (maybe BSD or Mac), many necessary dependencies are installed automatically or they need to be installed manually (the build system will inform you about it).

Build steps

1. Read comments in this script and change it for the selected build target (ARM, ARM64, x86, x86_64).
2. Run abrowser_build_apk script, source tarball will be downloaded and unpacked automatically.
3. Follow the steps of the build system; choose 3. GeckoView/Abrowser for Android Artifact Mode when prompted.
4. Generated APK will be located in BUILD_DIR/obj-droid/dist.
