As per this chat discussion, a tool for abbreviation popups and the like would be an interesting addition to SEPU. Including a JSON-import/sync, and perhaps even auto-expanding for some abbreviations.

Filtered by tag in the question, a list of abbreviations would get a popup/autoexpansion added as defined by the JSON.

If a message with an alert is too old, the script currently does nothing upon clicking the alert counter. Instead, it should open the transcript at that location.

Also, when scrolled to a message by clicking the counter, that message should get a short highlight, similar to the reply link highlight.

The new chromeStorage integration for settings may have grossly impaired the scripts on all other platforms. Testing and triaging needed.

Revision links on answers appear to have undefined in place of the post ID. This seems like a bug. Should be fixed.

Currently, there's no way to match for "start of line" or "end of line", much less a wildcard for any of those (pseudo-)whitespace characters. Might be worth looking into.

Currently, SEPU and SETU both do very simple things directly related to posts. Simple plan: Make them one script and alter the options page to accommodate that.

Instead of just using the settings dialog, directly importing (and exporting) a JSON-String from and to localStorage would be a simple solution for transferring one's settings (rather than setting it all up from scratch every time localStorage is wiped).

An automatic sync with an online JSON-string might also be a good idea.

Despite alerts being highlit frequently, the counter does not increment and add alerts to the stack.

Well, this really shouldn't happen: When a message from an ignored user contains an alert word, the alert counter increments and the sound is triggered. Scrolling and highlighting have no effect, however.
