What happened in the 2016 US Elections? What kind of population in the United States voted for Democrats and Republicans?

Used demographics, states and election data to do Exploratory data analysis and Predictive analysis to identify if a county had major Democratic votes or Republican votes. The party attribute was then used to identify the type and background of people that voted for the two parties.
Performed Linear Regression and Multiple Linear Regression to find out the relation between the characteristics of the population and the number of votes of Democratic and Republican.
Applied Classification techniques like SVM and KNN to predict the type of people based on gender, race and education that end up voting for either Democratic or Republican.
Applied Clustering techniques like Hierarchical and Kmeans and analysed the clusters formed.

What is the source of the demographic data?

Hi @uthiraa , thanks for sharing this repo. I'm trying to do a similar analysis on the 2020 Texas primary election, and I'm considering creating a similar demographics table from more recent Census ACS data. How did you settle on the list of features in the demographics table? If you got the demographics table from another source, what was that source? Any help would be appreciated.
