Imgur Search

A simple android app that uses Imgur's gallery search api to search gallery based on user entered query

Features:

  • A perfect grid layout of 3 columns which shows gallery image and title and also handles screen rotation.
  • Tapping on any of the grid item shows details of gallery.
  • There is a comment section on gallery details page which is stored locally using Google room database
  • This project has model-view-viewmodel architecture and most of it is written in kotlin. Except one activity which is written in Java
  • Using Rxjava, Glide and Android arch component's lifecycle library
  • Also last not the least it also support Dark Mode ;) Dark Mode is enabled either if battery saver is on or by switching the mode in device settings (Android 10 and above).
