HTTPFlood is a type of attack on networks whosegoal is to saturate the target web server with a large number of HTTP requests. This type of attack can result in a denial of service (DDoS) where the server is unable to process all incoming requests due to their high volume.

HTTPFloodX

HTTPFloodX is a console application for performing an HTTP flood attack on a specified URL.

Installation and launch

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/unkn-source/HTTPFloodX.git
   cd HTTPFloodX

2. Build the project:

   dotnet build

3. Run the application:

   You can run the application by specifying the target URL and the time (in seconds) for which the attack will be executed. For example:

   cd .\HTTPFloodX\bin\(Release/Debug)\net8.0\
   HTTPFloodX.exe http://example.com/ 10    

   10 requests are sent to http://example.com/.
