When logging in with a spanish user (the backend is in spanish) and trying to edit a page of type ImageGallery you get 10 tabs of type "Configuración" (Configuration). Editing the spanish translation and taking out the ó (using a regular o instead) the problem disappears. My first guess is that the problem is inside getCMSFields() in ImageGalleryPage.php and shouldn't be difficult to fix.

Hey UncleCheese, I have a feeling that this module may have been left behind, but I have a client I'd like to upgrade to SilverStripe 3 and it would be easier for me to upgrade some of the old modules they're using as a part of the migration.

Do you mind if I migrate this to SS3, packagist this with a composer file (I'll use my own vendor prefix "tractorcow" if that's ok), and essentially take this off your hands?

after creating a new image gallery page and setting the cover width and height to 0 (and having added a cover image for an album), i visited the page on the front end and received this error:

[Warning] imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions

I build websites with Arabic as the main language, so when I create a album in arabic characters it tries to generate a url name based on the album name which doesn't work in this case. What I did is I created a new field for albumURL which takes its own value not that generating it based on the albumName field.. adding that to ImageGalleryAlbum.php page would be better
