What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Contacts Tab
2. Click The + sign to add a new contact

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I am pretty sure it switches to the Contacts.app, or for some reason the
navigation tabs along the bottom are missing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Siphon 1.7.9.1, firmware 1.1.4

Not much more info than that. 

Oh, and why is there always a call icon in the status bar? Could you make
it go away when you exit the application in future versions, or make a
"quit" feature and then it will go away?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Siphon
2. GO back to the springboard
3. Receive a call, with daemon mode in operation

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Is some kind of signal supposed to pop out when receiving a call and out of
the program. The only time I can actually know someone is calling me, is
when I am in the program. The daemon mode is not of much use if this is the
case.

Just tell me if this is normal, and if you have a plan to correct this. It
would be useful if a pop-up would open when receiving a call, whereever you
are on your ipod. 

Hi,

I am running the latest version of siphon on FW1.1.3. I have configured my
TPAD (VOIP) settings on the siphon-settings menu. But everytime i launch
siphon, it opens up and then automatically closes again. And if i turn on
the log, i am not sure where the log file is stored. Pls advise.

When the micro is activated, the CPU activity increases to 80-100%.
The process that uses CPU is mediaserverd.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Settings (but do NOT fill out anything related to the SIP account)
2. Start Siphon (will ask you to fill out the Settings)
3. Go back to Settings, fill everything correctly
4. Restart Siphon

Siphon should run without a problem, instead, half of the screen is till 
overlapped with the 
warning screen asking for filling the Settings page out.

that "settings scrteenshot" is present on the top halve of the appliation, 
below the contacts and dial buttons are active, it seems i can also connect to 
sip server, 
but the upper halve of the Keypad (and Contacts list) is overlapped with that 
white settings 
screenshot.

2. SIP proxy send SIP-401 Unauthorized including "domain value" in WWW-
Authenticate header

1. first call a local landline (tested in Austria)
2. go to Contacts inside Siphon and try to "call" an email address by
simply choosing it from contacts.

siphon calls the last called number, and meanwhile opens the mail app. 
it should NOT call anything.

2. Receive a call
3. Siphon Crash

Siphon crahes immediately after pressing the "call" button if there is
no entry in the the AddressBook for the dialed number!!!

1. Setup to login to Gizmo SIP account
Username: <sip_number>
Password: <password>
Proxy: proxy01.sipphone.com:5060
Domain: proxy01.sipphone.com
STUN: stun01.sipphone.com:3478
2. Setup GrandCentral to forward to Gizmo SIP #
3. Answer PhoneCall

When GrandCentral connects the call, it plays a message, asking you to
press 1 to connect, 2 to send to voicemail, etc.  When I press those
numbers on my iPhone, it doesn't recognize them.  This works on a
GrandStream 2000 SIP Phone that I have, same configuration, I believe it's
just a difference in the way it handles DTMF, my GrandStream is set to send
DTMF via RTP (RFC2833).

Currently, the only solution to the problem is to open mobile safari and 
navigate to the Gizmo 
proxy: proxy01.sipphone.com.  After that, calls work on that Wi-Fi network, but 
if you go to a 
new Wi-Fi network, in which case you have to do the same thing.  This may have 
already been 
posted, but this has been a consistent inconvenience for me personally.

1. After Instal of Siphone over installer I have the Preverences of iPod
Touch on my iphone 
2. It doesn´t help to uninstall Siphone.

on the header field
3. Siphon does not send REGISTER with Authentication

Siphon is discarding this message and outputs:

This is probably related to http://trac.pjsip.org/repos/ticket/352. The sip
service provider is sip.i-call.gr in Greece. I cannot register my username
with the server due to this. 

The following is showing the different Via header on the 401 received (when
running kphone - kde's sip client)

1. Update to Siphon 1.2
2. Go to Settings, and configure to register with a Asterisk PBX

I expected registration to succeed, but it doesn't :-) The attached
capture shows that Siphon successfully replied to the 401 Asterisk sent,
and received a 200 OK.

See the attached capture file. The 200 OK is packet #10. Does Siphon
expect any header to be set to something else ?

1. Install last Siphon build
2. Configure Asterisk sip.conf (normal way, no special parameter, work fine
with other SIP/GSM phones) and configure Siphon "panel"
3. Launch Siphon, wait 10sec and see Siphon crash and iphone return to
SpringBoard

Asterisk work perfectly fine with other Wifi/GSM phones !!

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when you make or receive a call, the sound of callee is weak. It's not
important in a building but in the street you don't hear anything.

I'd like it's possible to  increase the sound level with iphone button or
slider for ipod (double click on home button)
