Spitfire is a virtual whiteboard to be shared by multiple persons at the same time. Users will be anonymous - so no one needs to sign in.

Currently you can access it on spitfire.peewee.space and start a whiteboard session.

Share the URL of your session with the people you want to work with. Anyone who has access to that URL can participate in your work.

Spitfire is free to use for everyone. It is developed on top of the Meteor platform while obeying the agile mantra: Build the simplest thing that will possibly work. Validate. Repeat. Yay.

Text input broken

Since a few days I can't add new tasks or edit existing ones. Moving or changing colors is still working. Has there been any change that might have caused this?

Import of any previously exported CSV fails

I exported a whiteboard and tried to re-import it into another whiteboard, resulting in the error above. Happens for any CSV export and does not seem related to the complexity of the board or the use of Markdown on cards etc.

My Windows 10 had CSV mapped to MS-Excel as the standard app, and I thought it might cause some MIME type confusion. But after setting the CSV standard app to the default text Editor of Windows, this problem still occurs.

PS: Importing TXT files works. so it seems like a CSV-only problem.

Voting breaks Markdown headlines

Post-its with votes render # headlines as plain text. Does not affect other Markdown, e.g. images or bold/italic.
