This is a project that aimed to make use of github as platform to build and maintain an external knowledge base and it's resource dependencies while making the articles as self sufficient as possible. This was so that people could be empowered by good documentation and tools instead of being information being hoarded and selectively shared which fostered a culture of dependency and ignorance. We see it best as an inherent problem in the Feral IRC and support in general for often referring users to poor documentation as a solution. Good documentation is a transparent and accountable solution. This project went a few steps further to provide some elements of direct support via scripts that provided built in support and troubleshooting features for their purpose and enabled users to an even greater capacity.

This project has never been officially supported by Feral in any capacity and was always a user project at heart with the user's needs in mind. Written by users for other users.

I thank all those who actually cared enough to provide edits, articles or scripts and those who were courageous enough to share their work publicly to be scrutinised, applauded or criticised. To those that did, not those that said; too much was said and too little was done.
