Hi great solution, i use it to backup zoneminder pictures to the cloud :)

But sometime ago i started to get strange erros, and no data i synchronized

Error: Invalid value for environment variable "RCLONE_VERSION": strconv.ParseBool: parsing "current": invalid syntax

I have tryied to delte container and set it up again.

Would you mind pushing the build again? One of the newer rclone versions have an api update that would take care of an issue for me. Ty :)

It seems like the Rclone version is getting out of date again. Could you maybe push a new build?
Would it be an idea to automatically push a new build once in a while?

The docker image is using /config/rclone.conf whereas rclone is looking for a file at /root/.config/rclone/rclone.conf.

Config file "/root/.config/rclone/rclone.conf" not found - using defaults

rclone now is requiring https downloads and ca certificates need to be installed

First thank you so much for your container this is amazing.

But I can't figure out how to make it work as a docker-compose.
You'll find my log in attachment but it seems that the script is never called when I docker-compose up my container (cf. docker-compose.log). On the other hand creating the container manually is working (cf. docker.log)

And by the way only the dev branch has the latest rclone version 1.38.

What's the difference between this and https://github.com/clusterbox/docker-rclone?

It seems to be a fork and is slightly more recent but neither have been updated in years.

Thanks for this docker image, really useful but would you mind pushing latest build? I'd like to use latest features in 1.39

As title. It would be very helpful to have an environment variable to set the PUID or PGID for the backup process to run as.

Is there any functionality for this? Thanks!

I have multiple of this docker image running and it looks like the cron schedule is not starting. I can see that none of the logs are updating. If i go into a container and fun /app/rclone.sh it starts and completes but there is nothing else happening. I'm seeing the crontab configured under user abc -- but it looks like that isn't initiating. Any ideas?

Could you make a ENV variable which is either true or false to start the rsync when the container starts? Might be super usefull to setup this container, also I'd like to run it once on startup anyway.

(For example this container has the option as well INIT_BACKUP)
