Cant copy past

Hey man, I'm not sure how to get copy paste working, right now I ctrl + a, [ to enter copy mode and them hitting v dooes not start selection.
Hiting space starts selection but when I hit Y it does not copy the buffer..

How do you actually copy and past?

git submodules

git submodules don't seem to get added correctly after running rake because the /vim/bundle/ directory is in .gitignore

Theme file

Hey there! Found your repo and love the addition plugins that make vim easier (vim beginner myself)

Just wondering, any particular reason why you didn't include a theme file?

when I attempt to run rake, I get this error:

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404

How do you put the YCM in?

I tried to use YCM in the original maximum-awesome.
But it seems not compatible with some bundle already installed. (YCM doesn't work at all in fact)
Would you please tell me how you changed the configure?
