To keep both the map style and design doc in sync it should be possible to map any changes from style.json back to .xd document.

1. Unzip the .xd package
2. Locate the artboards
3. When a layer object matches a layer in style.json update that object with any changes.

I'm structuring the data in a way that should support zoom stops well. I just need to drop stuff like

And build a zoom value from all results beyond first.

Easy fix. I am assuming stuff coming in is fixed integers.

If filenames line up, it should be possible to do this. There's also a resources directory in xd. We could conceivably upload patterns found from it 😵

Converting zoom stops to expressions would ideally be the first task as its the most straightforward.

Note: For other expressions, we will probably need to extend out layer naming convention to support property names and the kinds of expressions they are ie: layer-name__{property}__{zoom}

If we wanted to visualize where a layer starts and ends on a chart we could use those values to derive the extents of a source-layer.

Like the .xd format Sketch files are zipped with their style object contents represented as JSON data.
