Displaying distance between the application user and medical centers

While user tries to create an appointment, the web application should display Distance and How long should it take to reach to available medical centers.

I've tried to use Google Maps API (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/distance-matrix/start). The logic was like once the user clicks on "Check Distance" Button on each medical centers, it grabs user's latitude and longitude from the browser as the origin and takes medical center latitude and longitude from the SQL then queries Google Distance Metrix API with javascript. Later JavaScript parses the JSON reply and displays distance and duration on the table row. I've tried to fix the errors occurred when tried to implement the feature. But because of the lack of my experience with JavaScript, I couldn't fix it. So, finally omitted that feature.

Need to add that feature later on.
