quick-tab's Issues

Translations

I want to translate this extension to Turkish. Maybe other guys want to translate it too. Do you have something like this in your mind?

Tabs count badge

Something I would like to have :). I usually have many of them opened so a badge in the toolbar's button would be an indictor for me when I really went insane with the amount of tabs.

Arrow key navigation in large list

When using the arrow keys to navigate the tabs, navigating past the end of the visible list when there are more tabs to scroll to does not scroll the window to show the selected bookmark. The highlighted row just disappears below the scroll viewport.

Search multiple profiles?

I run several profiles simultaneously and quicktab in each of them. Is it conceivable that a quicktab search in one profile could search across browser tabs in all profile tabs?

Quick Tab Not Opening Properly

Quick Tab no longer opens. Instead of the box listing open tabs, a tiny white box appears.

This is happening across google chrome stable (83.0.4103.116 (official build 64-bit)), google chrome canary (86.0.4186.0 (official build canary 64-bit). I have restarted both PC's, and tried reinstalling the extension. PC information is listed below, as well as disabling all extensions to rule extensions as a conflict.

PC 1:
Windows 10 Pro - 1909 (Build: 18363.836) 640bit
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K
RAM: 32GB
chrome stable (83.0.4103.116 (official build 64-bit)),
google chrome canary (86.0.4186.0 (official build canary 64-bit))

PC 2:
macOS Catalina - 10.15.5 (mac mini (Late 2012))
CPU: Intel Core i-7 Quad-Core @ 2.3Ghz
RAM: 16 GB
chrome stable (83.0.4103.116 (official build 64-bit)),
google chrome canary (86.0.4186.0 (official build canary 64-bit))

FeatureRequest - Integration with Tab Groups

Could you integrate the new tab groups feature?
For example showing the group name at the same level as ungrouped tabs, and grouped tabs indented (or with a symbol like "---") so that the groups are clear to see

Sometimes the menu only shows three items

Sometimes it works; sometime it just shows three items:

screen shot 2017-11-14 at 12 50 38 pm

When I initially click on the menu, it initially wants to make the menu much larger, but then it instantly shrinks down to just three items.

keyboard shortcut?

very useful!

is there a way to apply a kbd-cut to open this? not sure if chrome has that feature, or if it can be added to the extension itself.

Redux

Use the redux store for state management

Not working properly

The icon just turned gray instead of poping up the window.
Quick tab ver4.2
Chrome Version 60.0.3112.90

Chrome 56: list shows tabs from all windows, not only the current one

I'm using Quick Tab 4.2 with Chrome Version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit) and have the following issue after recent update (not sure what exactly got upgraded):
The list started to show not only tabs from current browser window, but from all the windows of the current browser profile.
Is it the intended behavior, or it's just a bug? If it's a feature, please make it configurable.

Remove unused css

Add a build step to remove dead CSS as only a fraction of the generate tailwind file is actually in use.

Support sort order

Please consider supporting configurable sort order. e.g. by page title alphabetically ascending, left-to-right order, and perhaps most recently active. + others?

Sort tabs by window or alphabetical order

Right now there is no easy way to determine which tabs are in each window. Say I have 3 windows, and they contain:
Window 1: A B C D E
Window 2: F G H
Window 3: I J K L

Then Quick-tab will show them all in one list like this: A B C D E F G H I J K L, even when the focus is on Window 2. It would be nice if we had the option to have dividers between windows (A B C D E | F G H | I J K L), and to place the tabs belonging to the current window on top, so if I'm in Window 2, I would like to see F G H | A B C D E | I J K L

Thanks!

Configurable keyboard shortcuts

Make possible to use keyboard shortcut to activate QuickTab, then search/switch to desired tab using keyboard only.
Ideally those keyboard shortcut(s) will be configurable.

FeatureRequest - keyboard binding to close tab.

I'm a big keyboard fan, so it goes without saying that i love this extension.

one thing i found missing was using the keyboard to close a tab. I know you have this via right click, but thought it would be nice to have a keyboard short cut. I've forked and tried it out. If you are interested i can raise a pull.

great work by the way. Simple but very helpful extension. I tip my hat to you sir.

Increase data density

How about reducing the white space between the entries in the drop-down list? It would be great to see 40 or 50 entries (on a 1920 x 1080 monitor). The search feature is great but when browsing the list, less scrolling = more efficient.

Support blacklisting some websites

It would be nice to block the keyboard shortcut on some websites, so as not to conflict with their own shortcuts (e.g. if you're Chromoting to your company PC and using a code editor, which has a bunch of keybindings).

Increase depth of listed tabs

Instead of having to scroll down the tabs, could you increase the depth of the dropdown to the bottom of the chrome window. You have 4 available widths, how about depths?

Expand tabs

On hover expand the tabs so the whole title is showing
