When the ansible controller connects to hosts with a non-root user, which does privilige escalation via e.g. sudo, the template and copy modules fail with a permission error:

This error occurs as python modules involving file transfer (for example: copy, fetch, template) are not compatible with pipelining.

This can be easily fixed by becoming root for the copy and template module and setting the file owner & group in these modules.

Note: this error also occurs with the clone commands when pipelining is not enabled. However the git module does not support setting a user and group
