Some config options should be optional for people who upgrade so include defaults for options that can have them.

I have been using the image with tnc's other than the tnc-x. The only issue is that most older tnc's don't go over 9600 baud. So when the image boots I have to stop kissattach, change the baud rate in axports and run kissattach again. Is there a way to add the baud rate to rmspi.txt or to not have axports overwritten each time? Thanks for the great product!

For HF use Ardop mode would be good to have.
For 1200bd packet should TNC-Pi9k6 work instead of TNC-Pi?

The beacon times should be configurable and more conservative. Although conservative beacons means mheard won't be as useful for updating aliases.

It would be great to get ldsped added so RMSPi can act as a packet gateway over the IP network similar to AGWPE. It could support Winlink Express on a network computer: http://w2ygsoftware.com/Home/WinlinkExpress

If the RPi can't connect to the network it should put out a hotspot so you can connect and send mail.

The new CustomPiOS has auto-hotspot and https://github.com/guysoft/HostSpotOS which would do this.

In a home setting it is nice to be able to run a 2nd instance of Pat with an alternate callsign for my XYL. It just needs some automation so it starts up automatically.

We should update the aliases in Pat so it can be more local. Ideas are to add to config options, look at mheard, use winlink API to download the list of gateways.

To support these it might be neat to optionally enable RF remote access

Add direwolf option to config to make it a bit more automated.

Need a configurable cron job for PAT to check for mail automatically. Need to be able to configure:

• time
• remote to check with(telnet, url, or alias)

Some times the port 8080 is needed for other purposes. Make this configurable.
