WARNING: This is currently a work in progress. Don't expect a simple package for installing/running anytime soon.

Requires:

• Visual Studio 2017.
• Windows SDK 10. Built against version 10.0.15063.
• WDK 10. Needed for some headers and libraries.
• ViGEm. You will need both the bus driver from the 1.8.1.0 release (1.10.0.0 is buggy) and the HidGuardian Driver + HidCerberus.Srv. Currently requires devcon.exe from the Windows SDK to install.

switch-pro-x's Issues

Input not working

After going through all the hurdles to get the program compiled correctly, and it recognizes the pro controller, it creates a virtual 360 controller device successfully.
However, no input is recognized in Devices & Printers, and the Pro Controller's charging LED is flashing, which suggests to me that it's receiving some unexpected data and crapping out.

The command line output looks normal as you can see:

Errant, Non-Joypad Inputs when Pro Controller Is Connected

Excuse me if this is a ViGEmBus issue, but I'm experiencing a problem where various things will go crazy when I run switch-pro-x. Like constant clicking even when I'm not clicking, Magnifer opening itself and magnifying to the maximum. I can even increase or decrease my system's volume with the left control stick. It stops when I unplug the Pro Controller. It seems like the system isn't reading the controller right and thinks it's doing all these bizarre inputs.

I'm on Windows 10, 1703, x64. I installed the x64 versions of HidGuardian and ViGEmBus 1.8, as you suggested. HidCerberus is running, but I might add that it's the version from the GitHub, which I believe is on 1.10. I'm not sure if that is an issue.
