Hi I tried to use your code (thanks a lot for that, very helpful) on branch dev/jm/ssl which looks more mature than master
In mqtt_no_ss
l line 186 it still uses the function watch()
which is no longer there.
Shall I stick with the master branch ?
I'm having trouble connecting to AWS IOT. My best theory is that the device is not being set correctly to use TLS1.2, which is required by AWS (and possibly Azure). I saw this job posted on a freelancing site which seems to support this theory (although they may have got the idea from me posting in an issue on another repo).
Thought I would create another issue/thread to discuss this.
I've achieved the previous steps mentioned here, but don't know how to add the certificates.
I want to access to https://www.atesens.com, so if you could explain how to get the certificates I'd appreciate your help, as I'm new and I need to know this for a project.
Greetings,
First of all, I want to thank you for your example, is way better than the documentation.
I am following the sim7000.py example for the MQTT connection and I am not able to make it works, I don't know why I can change all the parameter using the command AT+SMCONF but the URL, so I cannot connect to the broker I want.
Do you have any idea what is going on?
Thanks.
Commands work fine at 9600 baud, but something goes wonky at 115200 baud (none of the responses are received, and all I get is timeouts). My guess is that since the send and receive commands execute sequentially, the slight delay between send and receive at the higher baud rate causes something to get missed. It might be worth rearranging things slightly such that the script starts reading the serial port before the command is sent.
Thanks for making this script! Super helpful as both a tool and a reference :)
Hi
I bought the LilyGO-T-SIM7000G and i am trying to send data to google spreadsheet with it see link:https://www.electroniclinic.com/google-spreadsheet-or-google-sheets-with-esp8266-nodemcu-for-data-logging/
but the example shows only how to do it via wifi not via a sim card.
I Have tested the lilygo see link: https://github.com/Xinyuan-LilyGO/LilyGO-T-SIM7000G/blob/master/examples/Arduino_TinyGSM/AllFunctions/AllFunctions.ino
works fine but I don't know how to get it work with the google spreadsheet without the help of a 3rd sever for example fttt?
Is this possible?
Can you please help me?
