Support for Python 2.6 was kinda lost on the way, so this needs to be fixed again.

At the moment, the setup.py file is unchanged and therefore, the module from this repository has the same name as the official module (pyhdb).

Maybe it would make sense to name this module something like pydhb-community to enable both modules to be installed in an environment at the same time ?

Basically, we need an interface to drop prepared statements and ideally also a mechanism that will automatically drop statements that are no longer used (e.g. garbage-collected)
