The goal of this project is to test the capabilities of ChatGPT, a chatbot powered by a large language model trained by OpenAI, by using it to write a cellular automaton simulator program.

ChatGPT-Powered Cellular Automaton Simulator

This project uses the GPT-3 language model to implement a cellular automaton simulator that can be used through a chat interface. The simulator is written in Java and uses Gradle for its build system.

Contributing

If you would like to contribute to this project, please follow these guidelines:

1. If your contribution was implemented using chatGPT:
   1. Extract the relevant chatgpt conversation using the file export-chat.js
   2. Place the resulting file in the chat folder
2. If your contribution was not implemented using chatGPT:
   1. Open an issue on the GitHub repository to discuss your contribution

We prefer contributions that were implemented using chatGPT, but we welcome all contributions that meet the guidelines above.

4. Create a new branch for your feature
5. Implement your contribution
6. Commit your changes with a commit message starting with "chatGPT:" if applicable
7. Submit the pull request
