Provider Hosted App with Asp.NET MVC SPhostUrl missing while uploading image

I am trying to create a simple post in which I am also attaching an image using Provider Hosted App on Sharepoint online, and I am not able to get SPHostUrl at Controller in HttpContext.Request, I mean SPHostUrl is missing in HttpContext.Request.

The question is if I am sending this part new { enctype= "multipart/form-data"} in the above mentioned statement of View, I am not able to get SPHostUrl parameter in HttpContext.Request.

If I am not sending the html attributes then I am able to get SPHostUrl parameter in HttpContext.Request. and without html attributes I am also not able to upload a file.

SharePoint Branding with Yeoman

Hi Thorsten,

Thank you for the amazing and fun presentation, Branding SharePoint with Yeoman. We currently are running SharePoint 2016 on premise and I would like to use the Yeoman approach to branding SP. I tried using your 2013 generator with the latest versions of all the Yeoman tools but started having issues when I run your generator. I wanted to know if you have an updated generator or should the 2013 version still work for SP 2016 using the latest Yeoman tool set.

If you have any other resources or knowledge you can share in this regard, I will be very grateful.

Question on Local template variables

Thanks for a very informative article. Can these variables be created dynamically? ie depending on the number of records can i create #firstname_0, #firstname_1 using a *ngFor index?

Electron or Node Webkit

hi dear thorsten.
i have many device that i need to manage them by client server model.
i decide use node.js but cann't choose between electron and node web kit which is more better? which have little bug?or ...
