Its not good practice to have two date columns. If the time is unimportant then I suggest storing the date in one ISO standard format.

The questions in the results section of the final report need to be answered.

Clean up the basic files and aspects of the repository.

• Finish rough draft of the texts of each section of the final report.
• Select final photos and direct captions in comments
• Integrate analysis
• Insert references into the text.

The preprocessing files need to be moved into the resources folder and split into "survey-data" and "reference-data"

survey data corrections

• Date/time correction
• species correction
• Add WS map to GPS key
• Add 5x5 map to GPS key
• Store each file as a .csv and a .json file in the "preprocessed" folder.

Reference data corrections

• Translate and append IUCN red list codes for indigenous species
• append 5x5 and WS lists species appears on.
• remove subspecies / aggr. / name tags and make genus-species slugs.
• store the file as a .csv and .json file in the "preprocessed" folder
• Make a reference list of the regional species.
• Add watch list /black list tags for invasive species

1. Repo manager needs to activate git hub pages in settings. We are not using jekyl templates

I think one should be eliminated, there is way too much repetition

Review the materials in the repository to prepare for their eventual reorganization.

The usage of the files in the data source folders is not clearly indicated, several unneeded files in the repository.

• redirect output of data prep code
• incorporate QGIS files (and update gitignore)
